About Words + Ideas

A series of panel discussions, spoken word and conversations, Words + Ideas creates space for thoughtful discussion and the sharing of ideas.

Our August Words + Ideas stream features Field Trip, a national online research symposium focused on creative practice at the intersection of art, science, technology and the environment; and Bunker Down, Speak Out: Grand Final, featuring stronger competition than ever before, with local poets performing live and interstate competitors projected live on screen.

Our July Words + Ideas stream featured Listening in the Wild, a series of immersive soundscapes exploring environments across the Sunshine Coast that will be produced live and streamed for listeners to engage with at home; and The Bunker Heat 2, featuring the incredible Anthony Anaxagorou joining us all the way from London.

Our June Words + Ideas stream featured Art x Activism, an in-conversation with leading artists working across mental health, climate change, cultural resurgence and social and political justice, discussing art as a catalyst for change; and The Bunker Heat 1, featuring the one and only Sabrina Benaim all the way from Toronto, Canada.
